The KCMC University Convocation was established pursuant to section 48 (1) (a) (i) of the Universities Act, No. 7, Chapter 346 of the Laws of Tanzania, Article 24 (1) (a) of the KCMC University Charter and Rules, 2025, and article 1 (1) of the Convocation Constitution. The KCMC University Convocation create a formal platform for alumni, faculty, and stakeholders to engage in the growth and development of the institution. Rooted in a tradition of excellence, the Convocation plays a vital role in maintaining a strong connection between past and present members of the KCMC University community.

The Convocation serves as a bridge between the University and its alumni and other key stakeholders, fostering engagement, knowledge sharing, and community building.
