Mr. Daniel Laswai serves as a Senior Health Instructor in the Department of Physiology at KCMC University.
Diversity of Experiences
Mr. Daniel Laswai is a senior Health Instructor in the physiology Department. He obtained a BHLSc at KCMC University in 2014 and MSc in Epidemiology and Laboratory Management at Muhumbili University of Health and Allied Sciences in Dar es Salaam in 2021. He assists in the practicals for MD 1, BScHLS, BSc physiotherapy, BSc OT and BSc Nursing. He is also working with the Tanzanian government as a Disease Detective during outbreak
investigation and management.
Ongoing research projects
- 1. Magnitude of Hepatitis B virus among screened clients and those with Hepatocellular carcinoma in KCMC from 2020 to 2025.
2. Possible alternative Laboratory Strategies for HIV disease staging for the purpose of care, treatment and prevention.
