Dr. Harold L. Mashauri is the clinician-scientist and a medical educator at the Department of Clinical Physiology, School of Medicine, KCMC University. He is involved in teaching, research and clinical duties at KCMC University and its teaching Hospital, Kilimanjaro Christian Medical Centre. Harold was born and raised in Tanzania where He completed his doctor of medicine training at KCMC University, School of Medicine in 2023.

He is passionate to improve cardiovascular care especially in developing countries like Tanzania. His main research interests includes cardiovascular medicine, metabolism and endocrinology, digital health, exercise physiology, medical education, infectious disease and global health. He has several scientific publications in peer reviewed journals in these research areas.
