Dr. Irene Maswi is a recently graduated MD from KCMC University and a dynamic medical leader with a strong focus on global health and youth engagement. She is the founder of a university research club and has held pivotal leadership roles in medical student organizations, including serving as President of TAMSA Tanzania and as Development Assistant for Members Engagement at IFMSA Africa.

Building on this journey, Irene now serves as IFMSA Regional Director for Africa, where she leads programs under her inspiring motto: “Africa United, Impact Amplified.”
