Networks & Connectivity


KCMC University provides a robust data network to ensure reliable access to resources both on-campus and remotely.

Wireless Network: The university offers a secure, high-performance wireless network across the campus, allowing students, faculty, and staff to connect seamlessly to the internet and internal resources.

Phones & Conferencing


KCMC University provides comprehensive solutions for teleconferencing, phone services, and mobile communications to support academic and administrative activities.

Zoom Meetings: The university offers access to Zoom for online meetings, virtual classes, and collaborative discussions.

Phone Services: University provides campus-wide telephone services, including both desk phones for offices and VoIP solutions to support communication.

Security


The ICT Office is here to support and protect you from IT security threats, ensuring a safe digital environment for all students, faculty, and staff.

Antivirus & Malware Protection: The ICT Office provides antivirus and malware protection on all university devices to safeguard against harmful software and cyber threats.

Additional Security Support: In addition to malware protection, the ICT Office offers guidance on best practices for password management, safe browsing, and other essential security measures to protect your personal and university data.

Teaching & Learning


The ICT Office provides comprehensive support to enhance teaching and learning through digital tools and platforms.

Lecture Capture & Streaming: Get assistance with lecture capture and streaming services, allowing you to record and broadcast lectures for remote access by students.

Learning Management Systems (LMS): The ICT Office supports the LMS to facilitate online course delivery, student assessments, and communication between faculty and students.

Video & Audio


The ICT Office provides expert consultation, services, and resources to support the creation of high-quality video and audio content for teaching.

Audio/Video Consultation: Get technical advice and assistance on recording lectures, and creating professional-quality multimedia contents for teaching and learning. The ICT Office offers guidance on equipment, software, and best practices.

Media Center Studio: Access the Media Center Studio for specialized facilities to record, produce, and edit video, audio and  instructional multimedia contents. This studio is equipped with professional tools for high-quality media production and live streaming.

Simulation & Computer Labs

The ICT Office supports various labs across campus to enhance learning and skills development:

Computer Labs: Well-equipped labs with essential software for students and faculty.

eLibrary: Access to a wide range of digital resources, including e-books and journals.

SIM Mum Lab: A simulation lab for hands-on medical training.

Emergency Skills Labs: Labs for training in emergency medical scenarios using simulations.
