The 1st day of the 3rd KCMC University Annual Scientific Conference at Uhuru Hotel commenced with the arrival of the Guest of Honor, Prof. Said S. Aboud, the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Ephata E. Kaaya, the Director of KCMC Hospital, Prof. Gileard Masenga, Deans and Directors from KCMC University and Directors of KCMC Hospital, alongside other distinguished guests, marking the beginning of a significant gathering dedicated to research, knowledge and experience sharing for scientific excellence.
The 1st day of the 3rd KCMC University Annual Scientific Conference featured inspiring remarks and speeches from the Guest of Honour, the Vice Chancellor of KCMC University Prof. Ephata E. Kaaya, and the Executive Director of KCMC Hospital Prof. Gileard Masenga. During their remarks and speeches, they expressed gratitude to all participants, researchers, students, partners, and stakeholders for their valuable contributions to advancing scientific knowledge and research. They highlighted the importance of increasing recognition and support for innovation and strengthening scientific partnerships and collaborations as cornerstones of the university’s mandate. The second day of the 3rd Annual Scientific Conference was marked by engaging discussions, insightful presentations, and knowledge sharing sessions involving researchers, students, academicians, and various stakeholders. Participants had the opportunity to present their research findings, share experiences, and engage in meaningful discussions around key issues emerging from the studies presented.
The event was officially closed by the Regional Medical Officer, Dr. Jairy Khanga, who congratulated all participants for their active involvement and commitment to advancing research and knowledge. In his closing remarks, Dr. Khanga encouraged researchers, students, and stakeholders to work even harder, continue pursuing impactful research, and translate their findings into meaningful solutions.
