Dr. Gasper Mpehongwa is a Senior Lecturer in Monitoring and Evaluation at the School of Public Health. He is also an adjunct Senior Lecturer at MS Training Centre for Development Cooperation (MS-TCDC), Arusha Institute of Accountancy (IAA) and Stefano Moshi Memorial University College (SMMUCo). He is part of a project Strengthening Capacity to Manage and Cope with Pandemics in Ethiopia and Tanzania (SCCOPET) which is jointly implemented by KCMC University, State University Zanzibar (SUZA), Jimma University, Ethiopia, Technical University of Denmark (DTU) and University of Copenhagen.
Dr. Mpehongwa serves in various professional bodies including Finance, Planning, and Investment Committee (KCMC University), Governing Board, Stefano Moshi Memorial University College, and Utume FM Radio station in Tanga, and Masoka Professionals Training Institute (MPTI) Advisory Board.
Dr. Mpehongwa research interests are on monitoring and evaluation, sociology of social change and national development strategies. He has published more than 20 papers in international peer reviewed journals.
