CALL FOR UNDERGRADUATE APPLICATIONS IN THE 1 ST ROUND OF 2026/2027 ADMISSION CYCLE
The Deputy Vice Chancellor for Academic Research and Consultancies – KCMC University invites all eligible applicants to apply for various Undergraduate programmes in the 2026/2027 admission cycle:-
A. Bachelor of Sciences in Health Laboratory
Entry Requirements
(i) Direct entry: Three principal passes in Physics, Chemistry and Biology with a minimum of 6 points: A minimum of C grade in Chemistry and D grade in Biology and at least E grade in Physics.
(ii) Equivalent entry: Diploma in Medical Laboratory Sciences with an average of “B’’ or a minimum GPA of 3.0. In addition, an applicant must have a minimum of “D” grade in the following subjects: Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology, Physics and English at O-Level.
B. Bachelor of Science in Physiotherapy
Entry Requirements
(i) Direct entry: Three principal passes in Physics, Chemistry and Biology with a minimum of 6 points: A minimum of C grade in Chemistry and D grade in Biology and at least E grade in Physics.
(ii) Equivalent entry: Diploma in Physiotherapy with an average of “B’’ or a minimum GPA of 3.0. In addition, an applicant must have a minimum of “D” grade in the following subjects: Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology, Physics and English at O-Level
C. Bachelor of Science in Prosthetics and Orthotics
Entry Requirements
(i) Direct entry: Three principal passes in Physics, Chemistry and Biology with a minimum of 6 points: A minimum of C grade in Chemistry and D grade in Biology and at least E grade in Physics.
(ii) Equivalent entry: Diploma in Orthopaedics Technology with an average of “B’’ or a minimum GPA of 3.0. In addition, an applicant must have a minimum of “D” grade in the following subjects: Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology, Physics and English at O-Level
D. Doctor of Medicine
Entry Requirements
(i) Direct entry: Three principal passes in Physics, Chemistry and Biology with a minimum of 6 points: A minimum of D grade in Chemistry, Biology and Physics.
(ii) Equivalent entry: Diploma in Clinical Medicine with an average of “B’’ or a minimum GPA of 3.0. In addition, an applicant must have a minimum of “D” grade in the following subjects: Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology, Physics and English at O-Level.
E. Bachelor of Sciences in Nursing
Entry Requirements
(i) Direct entry: Three principal passes in Chemistry, Biology and either Physics or Mathematics or Nutrition with a minimum of 6 points; i.e. an applicant must have at least C grade in Chemistry and at least D grade in Biology and E grade in Physics or Mathematics
or Nutrition.
(ii) Equivalent entry: Diploma in Nursing with an average of “B’’ or a minimum GPA of 3.0. In addition, an applicant must have a minimum of “D” grade in the following subjects: Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology, Physics and English at O-Level.
F. Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy
Entry Requirements
(iii) Direct entry: Three principal passes in Physics, Chemistry and Biology with a minimum of 6 points: A minimum of C grade in Chemistry and D grade in Biology and at least E grade in Physics.
(iv) Equivalent entry: Diploma in Occupational Therapy with an average of “B” grade or a minimum of 3.0. In addition, an applicant must have a “D” grade in any of the following subjects: Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology, Physics and English at O-Level.
