CALL FOR APPLICATIONS: DIPLOMA AND POSTGRADUATE PROGRAMMES FOR THE 2026/2027 ACADEMIC YEAR
The Deputy Vice Chancellor – Academic, Research and Consultancies – KCMC University would like to invite eligible applicants to apply for various programmes in the 2026/2027 admission cycle as listed below. 1. Diploma in Diagnostic Radiography
(i) Direct Entry Qualifications
Ordinary Level Secondary Education Certificate with three credits in biology, chemistry, physics and at least pass in mathematics and English.
(ii) Equivalent entry Qualifications
Radiographic Assistant with NTA level-5 certificate with four (4) passes in science subjects at O’level secondary examinations.
2. Master of Medicine (MMed) in Geriatric Medicine
Admission Requirements
An MD or equivalent (MBBS, MBChB) Degree from a recognised University of GPA of 2.7 or
B grade average.
3. Master of Public Health – Distance Learning
Admission requirements
(i) Medical Doctors, Dentists, Pharmacists, Environmental Health Scientists or graduate Nurses from this University or any other recognized University, OR;
(ii) Candidates from any other recognized University in health or health-related fields such as Sociology, Anthropology, Biostatistics, Demography, Food sciences, Veterinary sciences, Epidemiology, Health information science and Law.
(iii) Graduates must have a minimum GPA of 2.7 or a B grade average.
APPLICATION PROCEDURES:
Applicants for Masters programmes shall submit application online through; osim.kcmcu.ac.tz/apply and attach the following in one PDF document which includes CV, letter of sponsorship, 3 letters from referees, certificates and academic transcripts from Ordinary Level to degree. MMed applicants should include internship certificate and registration certificate from Medical Council of Tanganyika/other countries.
NOTE:
(i) You are required to read carefully and understand the admission requirements and procedure before attempting to apply
(ii) Application with incomplete attachments and application fee will not be considered
(iii) Applicants with foreign degree certificates must attach certificate of Verification of Foreign Awards obtainable from Tanzania Commission for Universities (TCU)
(iv) The application fee for Tanzanians is Tshs. 50,000/= and for non-Tanzanian is 50USD.
