Our Team
Gabriel Msuka
Gabriel is the Director of Information and Communication Technology (ICT), responsible for providing strategic leadership and oversight of the University’s ICT services. He ensures the availability, security, and efficient use of ICT systems to support teaching, learning, research, and administrative operations.
In this role, Gabriel leads the planning, development, and management of digital infrastructure, information systems, and cybersecurity initiatives in line with institutional goals and national and international standards. Working closely with university management and departments, he promotes innovation, reliability, and continuous improvement in the use of technology across the University.
Deodatus Mogella
Deodatus Mogella is an ICT specialist working with KCMC University ICT Department. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology from Tumaini University, Iringa College. Deodatus Mogella has previously worked as System Administrator at Flasac Company Limited in Mwanza. He is trained in Data Communications and Networking, Database Management and Implementations, IT Security and Ethical Hacking, Computer Systems Administrations and E – Learning.
Gift Ngowi
Gift Beda Ngowi is an Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Officer at KCMC University, serving in the ICT Department. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science from the Institute of Accountancy Arusha (IAA) and has over seven years of professional experience in university ICT services.
He has strong multidisciplinary expertise in ICT, enabling him to work collaboratively across different units within the department. His key responsibilities include the management and maintenance of ICT systems, such as computer systems, network infrastructure, information security, databases, and power backup systems, as well as providing timely resolution of technical issues.
Gift plays an important coordinating role in supporting e-learning systems and technical support teams, contributing to the planning and execution of ICT operations. He also provides technical support to both academic and administrative staff and students, ensuring reliable and efficient delivery of digital services that support teaching, learning, and institutional operations. His work aligns with and actively supports the mission and vision of KCMC University.
Musa Mkumbwa
Musa is an ICT Support Officer responsible for providing technical assistance and user support to both staff and students to ensure the effective use of information and communication technology services. His role includes troubleshooting hardware and software issues, supporting network and internet connectivity, maintaining computer systems, and assisting users with institutional systems such as email, learning platforms, and other digital tools.
Flavia Mayo
Flavia Mayo is an Instructional Technologist responsible for supporting the effective use of educational technologies in teaching and learning. Her role includes assisting academic staff in the design, development, and use of digital learning tools and learning management systems. She provides guidance on integrating technology into instruction, supports online and blended learning initiatives, and helps ensure quality, accessibility, and innovation in digital learning environments.
Goodluck Elias
Goodluck is an ICT Support Officer who provides technical assistance and user support to staff and students to ensure the effective use of information and communication technology services.
