EAC MASTER’S SCHOLARSHIP OPPORTUNITY – COHORT 4
An advert to KCMC University Students, Staff and Alumni
The KCMC University Internationalization Office is pleased to inform the KCMC University community that the Inter-University Council for East Africa (IUCEA), in partnership with the Federal Republic of Germany through KfW, has opened Cohort 4 of the EAC Scholarship Programme. Up to 120 fully funded, two-year Master’s scholarships are available for East African Community nationals to study at a partner university in an EAC country.
Why this matters for you
- Full scholarship covers tuition, a monthly stipend, return airfare, arrival and study allowances, a research grant and medical insurance for two years.
- Open to KCMC staff, students and alumni who are Tanzanian (or other EAC) nationals under 35 years of age.
Applicants study at a partner university in another EAC country, not within their own country of citizenship.
- The Programme targets at least 50% female participation; persons with disabilities and applicants from disadvantaged backgrounds are strongly encouraged to apply.
- The application window is short (opening 20 August and closing 10 September 2026) so early preparation is essential.
