EAC MASTER’S SCHOLARSHIP OPPORTUNITY – COHORT 4

An advert to KCMC University Students, Staff and Alumni

The KCMC University Internationalization Office is pleased to inform the KCMC University community that the Inter-University Council for East Africa (IUCEA), in partnership with the Federal Republic of Germany through KfW, has opened Cohort 4 of the EAC Scholarship Programme. Up to 120 fully funded, two-year Master’s scholarships are available for East African Community nationals to study at a partner university in an EAC country.

Why this matters for you

  1. Full scholarship covers tuition, a monthly stipend, return airfare, arrival and study allowances, a research grant and medical insurance for two years.
  2. Open to KCMC staff, students and alumni who are Tanzanian (or other EAC) nationals under 35 years of age.

Applicants study at a partner university in another EAC country, not within their own country of citizenship.

  1. The Programme targets at least 50% female participation; persons with disabilities and applicants from disadvantaged backgrounds are strongly encouraged to apply.
  2. The application window is short (opening 20 August and closing 10 September 2026) so early preparation is essential.
