HBNU Fogarty Global Health Training Program (2027–2028)
The HBNU Fogarty Global Health Training Program offers one‑year mentored research fellowships in low‑ and middle‑income countries (LMICs) for U.S. and LMIC pre‑ and post‑doctoral candidates. Fellows receive research funding, a stipend, and begin with a week‑long orientation in Bethesda, Maryland.
Research areas include HIV/AIDS, non‑communicable diseases, mental health, maternal and child health, nutrition, and more. Appointments start July 1, 2027, with applications due by September 25, 2026.
Partner institutions: Harvard University, Boston University, Northwestern University, and University of New Mexico.
